With an emphasis on affordability, Bellway has established one of the lowest average price points for its homes within the house building industry. We play a significant role in the delivery of social housing and have extensive experience of working with housing associations.

Schemes vary in size from small urban market renewal projects to major estate and Pathfinder regeneration schemes. We work in low demand areas and link housing investment to economic development, delivering housing choice, safer communities, providing solutions to respond to and meet housing need.

For young people getting a foot on the housing ladder is now a considerable challenge. The need for affordable housing is unprecedented. We are investment partners with the Housing Corporation and under their affordable housing programme have been awarded £8.7 million. We have also established the Bellway Housing Trust which specifically aims to provide affordable housing without the need for public sector financing. We were also successful in bidding for funding from English Partnerships to deliver a first time buyer scheme enabling young people to take an equity share in their new homes.
